Garden to Table

Our Garden to Table team enjoyed the new Pasifika recipe of Lu (Tongan) or Palusami (Samoan/Fijian).
Some tried for the very first time and were speechless. So if you have taro leaves around, follow our recipe and enjoy the Lu/Palusami.

All About the Human Body

Adonai was really interested to find out all about Diabetes. This came from the text he read in Reading program. He found the human body and started to figure out what happens to the food we eat, how does it travel around our body, what organs are responsible for it and also all about insulin carrying glucose in our blood. Wow Adonai, you are really impressive!!

Our First Time having fun with Sphero

This is the first time for us to play with Sphero. We are making it move in all direction by controlling it through the app on our Ipads. Next we are going to do coding for the Sphero to move in the direction that we assign by the program. It is a lot of fun.

BLAKE NZ - Virtual Reality Visit (Understanding Threats to Hauraki Gulf)

For most of us this was our first time using the Virtual Reality goggles to see things which isn't easily accessible as students. We thank the BLAKE NZ Team, especially Thomas and Alice who did a great job on telling us all about the Hauraki Gulf and what role we could play in order to keep it clean for all.
